Veteran Nollywood actress, Eucharia Anunobi, has called out a podcast host over the manner in which she was introduced during a recent appearance on The Honest Bunch podcast.
A video clip from the interview, which has been circulating online, shows the moment the host introduced the actress as “Ukeriya Anunobi Eku.”
The introduction, however, did not sit well with the seasoned actress, who quickly interrupted to correct the pronunciation of her name and point out that her titles had been omitted.
Anunobi clarified that her correct name is Eucharia Anunobi and emphasized that she prefers to be addressed with her full titles.
She insisted that the host introduce her properly as “Apostle Dr. Eucharia Anunobi,” stressing that both her academic and spiritual titles are earned accomplishments rather than honorary recognitions.
She said, “If you want to introduce me, you introduce me properly. I am remain Apostle Dr. Eucharia Anunobi.
"My doctorate degree is not honorarium. It is academic. I had worked. I had laboured. I am schooled.
"And when I mean schooled, I mean schooled… I’m a moving acting machine.”
